“Reconciling profitability and meaning”: these organizations offer affordable housing to caregivers

Landlords, developers, developers but also investors, insurers, financial funds… Around ten players are working with Assistance publique-Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) to offer less expensive housing to caregivers. This is the case of Grand Paris Aménagement (GPA), the main developer in the inner and outer suburbs (outside Paris). The latter did not respond to the last call for expressions of interest launched by the AP-HP, but signed a memorandum of understanding with it last March so that 300 housing units with adapted rents would be reserved for this specific public at Fort d’Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis), where more than 2,000 housing units are planned.
