The Islamic State group claims responsibility for the attack that killed two Swedes in Brussels

The Islamic State group claimed responsibility on Tuesday for the attack which cost the lives of two Swedes in Brussels. A man shot on Monday evening at passers-by, wearing Swedish football team jerseys, in the middle of the street in the north of the Belgian capital. Of the three people of Swedish nationality affected, two died and a third was injured.

In a protest video published on social networks, the alleged perpetrator, who fled after shooting, alluded to Daesh. He was killed in an intervention by Belgian police on Tuesday morning.
