Stockholm, Sweden – The Police Authority has announced a job opening for the position of Group Leader for Investigative Activities in the Skärholmen area of Stockholm. The position offers an opportunity to make a difference in the community and contribute to creating a safer environment.
Skärholmen is a vulnerable neighborhood in Stockholm city, and the local police area’s mission is to reverse the development in these areas and increase security for the citizens through collaboration with others. The role includes overseeing local police and area police in intervention and crime prevention work. Investigative activities, including preliminary investigations and intelligence cases, will be conducted with extended methods such as reconnaissance and covert means of coercion.
The ideal candidate will have a Swedish police degree or other relevant academic education, or equivalent acquired experience. At least 6 months of continuous supervisory experience within the last five-year period is required, along with experience in investigative activities and change and development work.
As the Group Leader, the responsibilities include operational planning, internal processes, and representing the Police Authority both internally and externally to strengthen trust in police operations. Leadership skills, including commitment, equal treatment, and creating a positive work environment, are essential for this role.
