Actor Mammootty confirmed Kovid (Mammootty covid positive). He was diagnosed with the disease after suffering from a mild cold and sore throat the previous day. Doctors said that Mammootty is in perfect health.
However, it is not clear whether Mammootty is in a home quarantine or has been admitted to hospital. His fans took to social media to wish the star a speedy recovery.

Kovid confirmed the actor while the shooting of the fifth part of CBI was going on in Kochi. Filming was then suspended for two weeks.
