Watan Al-Youm: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Al-Safadi, said on Thursday that Jordan’s priority is to stop the war on Gaza immediately and bring aid immediately into the Gaza Strip.
During a press conference, he stressed the need to protect civilians on both sides in harmony with common values and international law, and he saw that things do not appear to be calming down.
Al-Safadi held extensive discussions with his counterpart, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, within the framework of efforts made to stop the war on the Gaza Strip and the human suffering it causes, ensure the protection of civilians, and adherence to the rules of international humanitarian law.
The meeting discussed the need to intensify efforts to launch immediate and effective international action to stop the war and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
