An unusual case took believers by surprise in a church in Franca, in the interior of São Paulo, precisely in the Jardim Paulista community center. This is because, during a service held last Saturday (14), a man ended up falling from the ceiling, right in the middle of the hall.
The moment was recorded. Through the video that went viral on social media, it is possible to observe the exact time at which the still unidentified man falls from the ceiling, breaking a structure apparently made of PVC lining – a type of material made from polyvinyl chloride.
The guy’s fall took the faithful by surprise and some were scared, while others ran to see what had happened.
Occurrence
According to the EPTVa TV Globo affiliate, before falling from the church ceiling and interrupting the service, the man was fleeing from local residents, after almost running over children in the region.
As a result, the subject crashed the vehicle he was driving into a tree, when he escaped and decided to climb onto the roof of the evangelical church, then falling.
Still at the scene, the subject refused medical attention, but ended up being taken to the city’s Judicial Police Center (CPJ), where he gave a statement and was released. The case will now be investigated by the Civil Police, according to information from the G1.
On social media, internet users made jokes about the incident. “I’m sure there were people there thinking that Jesus was coming back”, commented a follower of the Assemblyanos de Valor profile.
“If you fell in the right place, take advantage and give your life to Jesus, it’s just Victory”, wrote one internet user, while another endorsed her comment: “If he was being persecuted, God gave him release, and a chance to repent”. Watch:
