Angola participates in the largest Intra-African Trade Fair in Egypt

News from Angola – The country will be represented between the 9th and 15th of November, in Cairo, capital of Egypt, at the third edition of the largest Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2023).

According to a note that Noticias de Angola had access to today, the Angolan delegation at the event will be coordinated by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Rui Miguêns de Oliveira, and will include several exhibitors, including businessmen, banking institutions and various business associations.

The IATF is a biannual event and serves as one of the instruments to support the implementation process of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and aims to facilitate intra-continental trade, as well as the development of exports of industrialized products, read in the report.

The holding of the aforementioned event, according to the statement, will allow African countries and companies, as part of a recovery strategy, to make the most of the Trade Fair, as a platform considered crucial for accelerating the process of developing commercial and industrial partnerships in the mainland market.
