Wherever people are killed in the world, humanity is also dying. Where guns speak, someone’s compassion is silent. But there is another side of the matter and it worries me a lot.
For example, the Tartar crime is a terrible reality of the recent past. Innocent people were subjected to tortures that we have not seen in movies or read about in books. But I did not observe the excitement we have today in Israel and Palestine for the innocent people killed in the Tartar events. Day and night, I saw a lot of people sharing photos and videos from Israel, Gaza, that they did not circulate Tartar tortures and oppression of opposition activists. Why should human life be so cheap in this country? It is not logical for us to be so cruel, cruel and indifferent to ourselves. Such mass “immunity” to lawlessness weakens us. The fact that we do not value ourselves and demand mercy from others creates an incomprehensible situation. Of course, the images from Israel and Gaza are horrifying and chilling. But the suicide of dozens of veterans should also terrify us. Our anger should not be so easily defeated by our fear, our compassion should not be so easily surrendered to the rod. If we are sincere, if we are angry at the destruction of human destinies, let us demonstrate it for ourselves.
Otherwise, insincerity, favoritism, influence are felt.
If killing innocent people is a bad deed, it is also a bad deed to rot innocent people in prison, be tortured, and be killed by torture.
And being silent about injustice and being blind to oppression is also a bad deed. It is impossible to be a good person silently to bad people.
Being indifferent to the negativity here, protesting the murders there does not guarantee silence here. The color, taste, appearance of oppression is the same everywhere.
