Five children collapsed in the Carinthian kart hall

Six people, including five children, collapsed in a karting hall in Wolfsberg on Saturday evening. According to the police, there was an increased concentration of carbon monoxide around 8 p.m. At that time there were about 20 people in the facility. The collapsed people were quickly taken outside, rescue and fire brigades moved. The fire brigade found a “significantly increased value” with a CO meter.

All six people were taken to hospital with suspected carbon monoxide poisoning. The cause of the high CO concentration was initially unknown, investigations were ongoing.
