In a video captured by a fan at the concert, Sandler can be heard addressing the crowd and instructing everyone to give the medical staff space to attend to the fan in need. “Let’s take a few seconds, we’ll just let these guys concentrate, alright? Love y’all,” Sandler said.
As the arena lights turned on and the medical staff reached the troubled fan, Sandler extended his well wishes. “We’re all wishing you well there, youngster, feel better back there. Sorry about that,” he added. Shortly after, he resumed his show, ensuring that everyone in the audience was okay. “I hope everybody’s good, everybody’s alright. We’ll get going, we’ll start the show back up, alright?” Sandler reassured the crowd.
Sandler has been on his “I Missed You” Tour, which began in Vancouver last week and will conclude in Denver in December. Prior to the incident in San Jose, he performed in Fresno and is scheduled to take the stage in Palm Desert and Anaheim in the coming days.
