Palestinian Health announces the dryness of Gaza’s hospital resources and calls for immediate intervention

Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, on Saturday, the “drying up” of hospital resources in the Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing Israeli siege and bombing, while confirming that the number of martyrs had reached 4,385 so far.

The ministry said in a press conference, “Gaza Strip hospitals have completely dried up their resources due to the lack of the most basic emergency treatment supplies, including fuel. We appeal to the international community and Egypt to work immediately to bring in fuel and emergency health needs before more victims are lost inside the hospitals.”

She added, “The Israeli occupation committed 29 massacres during the past 24 hours, claiming 248 martyrs and 400 injuries, and committed 550 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, claiming the lives of 3,353 martyrs, and a large number of them are still under the rubble.”

The Ministry of Health continued, “4,385 martyrs, including 1,756 children and 967 women, in addition to 13,561 wounded since October 7, and 70% of the victims of the Israeli aggression are children, women, and the elderly.”

The Ministry of Health indicated that “51 health personnel were martyred and 87 others were injured with various injuries, in addition to 7 hospitals and 25 health centers being out of service due to targeting and running out of fuel,” indicating that “bed occupancy in hospitals in the Gaza Strip exceeded 150%.”
