IDF Spokesman: Hamas Deliberately Harms Human Lives in Gaza

IDF spokesman, Brigadier General Daniel Hagari, held a press conference on Saturday to provide updates on the “Iron Swords” war, now on its 15th day. In his statement, he made it clear that Hamas is intentionally endangering civilian lives in Gaza for propaganda purposes.

Hagari accused Hamas leaders Yahia Sinwar, Muhammad Daf, Saleh Aruri, and others of lying about the disaster in Gaza. He emphasized that the responsibility for the suffering in the region lies solely on their shoulders.

“The only address for what is happening in Gaza is Sinwar, Daf, Aruri, and their comrades. They are deliberately causing harm to innocent people and manipulating the situation for their own gain,” Hagari said.

The spokesman highlighted the fact that Hamas often uses civilian areas, such as schools and hospitals, as military sites, putting innocent lives at risk. He noted that the IDF takes extensive measures to minimize civilian casualties during its operations.

“The IDF goes to great lengths to adhere to international law and minimize collateral damage. We target only military infrastructure and personnel, but Hamas deliberately hides among civilians, making our mission more challenging,” Hagari explained.

He also criticized the international community for largely ignoring Hamas’ deliberate actions and focusing solely on civilian casualties in Gaza. Hagari urged the media to present the situation objectively and provide a balanced perspective on the conflict.

“The international community must understand that Hamas is exploiting their sympathy to further their own agenda. The media must not fall into their trap and must report the truth,” he stated.

As the fighting continues in the region, the IDF spokesman stressed the importance of the Israeli military’s mission to protect its citizens from ongoing threats and ensure the security of the country.

The “Iron Swords” war has been ongoing for over two weeks now, with no immediate resolution in sight. As tensions continue to escalate, the situation remains highly volatile and uncertain.
