Rami Levy takes off: Israir in a series of senior appointments

Israir announces changes in the company’s senior management. Shai Gil has been appointed VP of Engineering and Maintenance at Israir – he replaces Shmuel Savish, who is leaving the company after three years in the position.

Has an extensive international experience of over 25 years in business and operational management in the field of aviation and energy in Israel and around the world. In his most recent role, he was one of the founders of Bird Aviation, located at Larnaca International Airport in Cyprus. The company specializes in heavy maintenance of Airbus 320 aircraft and among its major customers are EasyJet, Wizz and more. Prior to that, he served as Director of Energy and Aviation and held logistics, maintenance and engineering management positions in Israel, India and Australia.

Eli Agami has been appointed VP of Human Resources at Israir, replacing Tal Zeidenberg – Loya, who served for nine years as VP of Human Resources and wanted to end her position. Agami has worked for Israir for 19 years and is part of the company’s senior management team and has a rich background in management and labor relations.

Among his roles, Eli was responsible for assimilating new technologies in the company, managing the collective agreements of the air crews in accordance with Israir’s business strategy, director of operational development and safety of the company and a member of the board.
