Exemplary reissue of three of Joni Mitchell’s best albums released between 1972 and 1975.

In 1970, Joni Mitchell, Californian folk star, could no longer stand the media attention given to her, decided to stop performing and then leave both her label and Los Angeles for the peaceful coasts of British Columbia, in his native Canada. It was there that three major albums were born, For the Roses (1972), Court and Spark (1974) and The Hissing of Summer Lawns (1975), revisited on Archives, Vol. 3: The Asylum Years 1972-1975, third copious episode of diving into his archives. Five CDs, 96 unreleased tracks for a parallel story of his golden age, between demos, alternative studio sessions, accompanied among others by Graham Nash and David Crosby and Neil Young, and recordings of historic concerts, such as that of his return triumphant on stage, at Carnegie Hall in New York, in 1972. A reissue model, careful and erudite.
