The Directorate of Municipal Works (DOM) reported that the road improvement program arrived in Nueva Granada, becoming the 20th municipality in the department of Usuluán that registers an improvement.
“With this project, Nueva Granada becomes municipality number 20 of the 23 in the department of Usulután, which demonstrates the firm decision of the president to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of this place in the east of the country,” said DOM.
This project consists of the improvement of 12 kilometers of streets from the urban area of this municipality to the Palomilla de Gualcho canton, which will allow better mobility for more than 13 thousand people.
“Some sections of this road have deteriorated asphalt, cobblestone and dirt surfaces that are affecting the development of the population. The works will include the construction of the base, sub-base, with drainage such as gutters, curbs and speed bumps,” said the DOM.
