On the sequences chosen by Israel, the terrorists put up no resistance. Name, town of origin, role in Hamas: everyone explains their identity calmly. Houses burned, “entire families” shot “by surprise” including “one of four children with her dog”, a man “who was watering his plants” murdered, residents used as “human shields”. Chilling anecdote: terrorists allegedly took “a selfie” with a 15-year-old girl before murdering her. A prisoner with a youthful face claims to have been reproached by a superior for “wasting bullets” on a dying victim.
