AMBON – General Secretary (Sekum) of the All Indonesian Billiard Sports Association (POBSI) Maluku, Yanni Kainama, thanked the owner of Multi Biliar for providing facilities for athletes to train ahead of the 2024 National Sports Week (PON) Qualification round. According to him, they are very comfortable with the conditions which exists.
“We, POBSI Maluku, thank the owners of Multi Billiards who have provided facilities for athletes to train. They are very comfortable with the existing conditions,” he said, Monday (23/10/2023).
Furthermore, Yanni conveyed plans to collaborate with Multi Biliar in the future. The hope is that the location’s facilities can become a regional training center (Puslatda) for billiards in Maluku.
Apart from that, Yanni intends to make Multi Billiards a certified billiards house. This effort is a step towards realizing the mandate of the General Chairperson (Ketum) of POBSI, Hary Tanoesoedibjo.
“We, POBSI Maluku, also have an interest in collaborating with Multi Billiards, at least here as well as Puslatda Billiards, and we have an interest in making this a certified billiards house in accordance with the mandate of our Chairman, Hary Tanoesoedibjo,” continued Yanni.
Along with that, Yanni also expressed his appreciation to Hary Tanoesoedibjo for the attention given. According to him, HT has brought billiards to become a professional sport in Indonesia today.
Yanni is also determined to bring his team to make Maluku proud in the upcoming PON. It is believed that the facilities provided can maximize the athletes’ preparation.
“We also give our appreciation to Mr. Ketum because he has paid enough attention to making this sport professional. We from Maluku, fellow athletes, are also ready to give our best to make Maluku’s name proud in Pre-PON and PON so that those who didn’t qualify yesterday will be paid. paid off,” added Yanni.
