The International Tennis Integrity Agency has confirmed the suspension of American Jenson Brooksby for 18 months for breaches of the whereabouts obligation.

The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) confirmed this Tuesday that an independent court had suspended for 18 months Jenson Brooksby (22 years old; 301st in the world who distinguished himself at the last Australian Open in eliminating Casper Ruud in the 2nd round) after noting that the young American had failed three times to comply with the whereabouts obligation over a period of twelve months.

The sanction will be backdated to July 5, 2023 and will expire on January 4, 2025. Jenson Brooksby, one of the most promising young players in American tennis, has three weeks to appeal.
