In an email addressed to the municipality’s municipal agents, the mayor of Nîmes, Jean-Paul Fournier (LR) announced the granting of a bonus of 300 to 800 euros to municipal agents. This financial assistance was created by the Government last June. It allows, under conditions, to award a bonus to employees in public and hospital functions.
“Without waiting for the implementing decree which will allow local authorities to pay it, I chose to do so immediately,” explains the mayor of the Gard prefecture. This, “so that agents can benefit from it on the pay for the month of December”. This decision must nevertheless be validated by the next municipal council, in November.
Maximum bonus up to 23,700 euros salary
The monthly gross remuneration of beneficiary employees must not exceed 3,250 euros. It is also degressive. Civil servants earning less than 23,700 euros per month will receive the maximum bonus. The news was welcomed by the unions who had been demanding this bonus since September.
