Armenia should show its interest in opening the Zangezur corridor.
Day.Az reports that Hikmat Hajiyev, assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration, said this in an interview to “POLITICO”.
“Our agenda was only to establish transport links and communication within the framework of bilateral relations. The project has lost its attractiveness for us – instead, we can do it with Iran. This issue is still on the table, but the Armenian side should show its interest in this process,” he said.
H. Hajiyev denied the provocative statements of the Armenian side that Azerbaijan is allegedly “planning to capture Zangazur”.
