Suunto has unveiled the new 9 Peak fitness watch tailored for runners and athletes.
According to the Finnish electronics manufacturer, the novelty is the thinnest, smallest and most durable watch in Suunto history. The watch bezel is made of titanium, the case is made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, and the screen is covered with a sapphire crystal.
Depending on the mode of use, Suunto 9 Peak can last up to two weeks without recharging, and when GPS is activated, the autonomy of the device ranges from 25 to 170 hours. The watch received a screen with a resolution of 240×240 pixels, on which you can display information about the course of training, as well as body indicators. The 9 Peak sensors also include a saturation sensor, which shows the level of oxygen saturation in the blood. The new Suunto watch has received a wireless software update function.
The cost of the Suunto 9 Peak, which will hit the market in black, white, gray and blue, has not yet been announced.
