Xiaomi company, as part of the presentation of new products, officially new family of Xiaomi 14 smartphones.
A feature of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro models is the processor and display. The devices were the first smartphones to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, and also feature a display based on the C8 light-emitting material developed by Xiaomi and CSOT, with a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits and a density of up to 422 pixels per inch. LTPO technology provides a variable refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz.
The Pro version features a 6.7-inch WQHD+ display with Allaround Liquid Display design, where the screen curves slightly downward on all four sides and corners to provide a constant curvature. The device also has a new generation of ceramic protective glass with increased strength compared to its predecessor. The smartphones have cameras with the new Light Fusion 900 image sensor with Leica lenses and technologies, and the Pro version has advanced manual camera settings for photography.
The Xiaomi 14 is equipped with a USB 3.2 Gen1 port with a bandwidth of up to 5 Gbps, while the Xiaomi 14 Pro has a USB 3.2 10 Gbps connector. The high-energy density battery of the base version is 4610 mAh and supports 90W HyperCharge wired charging and 50W wireless charging, while the Pro version’s 4880 mAh battery supports 120W HyperCharge wired charging. Both smartphones are equipped with four microphones and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
New devices will hit the market with the Xiaomi HyperOS operating system, which the company has been developing over the past seven years. The new operating system will appear on smartphones, smart home devices and cars from Xiaomi.
