DIG/ Ecobank executives did not miss the opportunity to celebrate an annual event to support students at the National Institute of Post, Information and Communication Technologies (INPTIC).

On Saturday October 21, 2023, the Pan-African bank made available to them various equipment, but also an internet connection (high speed with optical fiber) to ensure stable and ultra-fast network coverage valid for the entire 2023-2024 academic year.

“This endowment is an open door to the world. It helps bridge the digital divide and allows students to be constantly connected, take online courses and equip their skills with the applications and software they will need to develop the leaders they are.

We are aware that these tools play a crucial role in the learning and development of students’ digital skills.underlined Franck Moussavou Mihindou, deputy general director of Ecobank.

This donation takes place within the framework of the “Ecobank Day” established since 2013.

Over the past decade, the banking establishment has supported youth education, malaria prevention, maternal health, drinking water management, orphanages, non-communicable diseases and financial inclusion.

This year’s edition focused on the theme “Transforming Africa through Education, Succeeding with Digital Skills”.

“This donation of equipment comes at the right time, because it will give us the opportunity to equip our four rooms. Likewise, the new connection line will allow our students to learn in optimal conditions”rejoiced Ali Isselam Salihi, advisor to the director general of INPTIC.

Through this support, Ecobank thus marks its commitment to Gabonese youth and participates in the promotion of digital professions.

Hence, towards the managers of the banking establishment, the gratitude of the students expressed through the voice of Gill Idagha.
