Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry has announced that she is expecting twins with her boyfriend Elijah Scott, adding to her growing brood. The 31-year-old, who rose to fame after appearing on the MTV series 16 and Pregnant, shared the exciting news on her podcast Barely Famous. She was joined by TikTok star Allison Kuch, who is expecting her first child with her husband, NFL star Isaac Rochell. Kailyn revealed that she had not known she was pregnant during her recent holiday to Thailand, saying, “I must have gotten pregnant right before I left and had no idea.”
During the podcast, Allison and Kailyn discussed the process of tracking ovulation. While Allison revealed that she knows the exact date she conceived, Kailyn admitted that this is her sixth pregnancy and that she has gotten pregnant on days that were not her ovulation window. Kailyn already has five sons from previous relationships: Isaac, 13, with ex Jo Rivera, Lincoln, 9, with ex Javi Marroquin, Creed, 3, and Lux, 6, with ex Chris Lopez, and Rio, 11 months, with her current boyfriend Elijah.
This announcement comes after Kailyn quietly welcomed her fifth baby in July, confirming the news on her Baby Mamas No Drama podcast. She had kept the birth private, only telling close family and friends. Kailyn left the MTV show Teen Mom 2 in May 2022 after an 11-year stint, wanting to tell her own story on her own terms.
While she admitted feeling like her “hands are tied” with people announcing her news for her, she expressed a desire to share her own story and do things her way.
