Sahra Wagenknecht actually wants to convince her desired clientele, the middle class. But at least the industry associations are skeptical.

Sahra Wagenknecht did not find particularly kind words for the state of the Federal Republic of Germany when she announced her founding of her party. The education system is bad, the infrastructure is disgraceful – and the traffic lights are the worst government of all time. Wagenknecht was only satisfied with one thing: the German middle class. She repeatedly emphasized that the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW) wants to strengthen these companies.

Criticism from the associations

Can the alliance really find favor among German medium-sized businesses? So far, around 30 entrepreneurs are said to have joined the BSW. This emerges from an email from Ralph Suikat to the FAS. The Karlsruhe millionaire and investor is Wagenknecht’s finance man. The entrepreneurs “offered to actively support the project. Be it ideal or financial,” writes Suikat. He doesn’t want to reveal anything more at this point. Because not all entrepreneurs wanted to go public with their political commitment. “I’m working to ensure that more entrepreneurs come out of the woodwork, the ground is being prepared more and more,” says Suikat.
