Having come to attend a concert by rapper Morad on Friday evening, the spectators at the Elysée Montmartre probably did not expect that. In full performance in the Parisian hall of the 18th arrondissement, the Spanish singer of Moroccan origin was surprised to see the footballer Achraf Hakimi arrive on stage with him, two days before Brest-PSG in Ligue 1 (Sunday, 1 p.m.) .
The 24-year-old rapper sings and dances for a few moments with the Parisian right-back – whom he has been close to for several years -, hood on his head in front of delighted fans. The singer is recognized on the Spanish rap scene, and has made several collaborations with French rappers (Jul, Naps, Mister You, Lacrim, Timal, Rim’K).
Accused of threatening to taser Catalan police officers in 2021
Morad appears regularly with Hakimi on his social networks, with whom he notably attended the last Spanish Grand Prix at the beginning of June in the company of Kylian Mbappé. He appeared in legal news across the Pyrenees two years ago, after a heated altercation with the Mossos, the autonomous police force of Catalonia.
The Spanish-Moroccan is accused of having activated a taser and of having threatened Catalan police officers with the defense weapon in order to escape control in 2021, in full confinement, reported the local media MediterraneoDigital. Spanish justice requested six years in prison against the rapper.
