Ganzourgou: The new provincial director of the environment, Sayouba Sigué installed
Zorgho, (AIB)- Le haut– Commissioner of the province of Ganzourgou, Ms. Aminata Sorgho/ Gouba installed on Thursday October 26, 2023 in Zorgho, the new provincial director of the environment of Ganzourgou, Sayouba Sigué, in his position. The ceremony took place in the presence of the strong forces of the province and collaborators of the incoming and outgoing.
The water and forest inspector, Sayouba Sigué was officially installed in his position as provincial director of the environment of Ganzourgou on October 26, 2023 in Zorgho.
He replaces in this position the major controller of water and forests, Pascal Balima who served as provincial director for 2 years 11 months.
The staff representative of the provincial environment directorate, Naba Lamourdia François praised the management spirit of Mr. Balima.
Management which, according to him, has made it possible to achieve considerable achievements, including the achievement of more than 100% revenue collection each year, the mobilization of more than 50 million CFA francs in aggregate tax for the town hall, the achievement of more than ten groves.
On behalf of the management staff, he thanked the outgoing man for his sociability and wished every success in his future missions. Naba Lamourdia François also welcomed the new director and reassured him of the commitment of all staff to support him.
After his solemn installation, the incoming director, Sayouba Sigué expressed his gratitude to the highest authorities of the country and particularly to the minister in charge of the environment for the trust placed in his modest person by appointing him to this position of responsibility.
In a context of insecurity marked by population displacement with sometimes strong pressure on the environment, he says he understands the magnitude of the task awaiting him and is committed to working fully to deserve this trust.
Mr. Sigué invited all staff, administrative authorities and all active forces to accompany him. The new provincial director of the environment of Ganzourgou congratulated his predecessor for the work accomplished and committed to consolidating his achievements.
The High Commissioner, Mrs. Aminata Sorgho/Gouba saluted the outgoing man for the service rendered to the province. She congratulated the new director and invited him to listen to his colleagues and the hierarchy.
The first official of the province expressed the commitment of all the active forces of the province to support her.
As a reminder, the water and forest inspector, Sayouba Sigué was appointed on Wednesday October 4, 2023, in the Council of Ministers as the new provincial director of the environment of Ganzourgou.
