The Samsung Innovation Campus 2023 program, which has been in development for three years, has in this edition a focus on artificial intelligence coding, so the invitation is to study to learn how to use AI in this approach to programming.

This program is aimed at young Colombians who are interested in having knowledge in programming and development, key aspects for the labor market today in different areas.

Beyond providing technical knowledge in artificial intelligence, this course seeks to incorporate components in soft skills, in this way students will not only learn to program AI algorithms, but will also prepare for real use cases, where critical thinking skills , assertive communication, teamwork and conflict resolution are essential.

In addition, the Samsung Innovation Campus offers participants the opportunity to network with companies in the technology sector that are looking for new talent.

To access the program you must meet certain requirements. First, they must be between 18 and 28 years old and second, have prior knowledge of Python programming, logic-mathematics, and basic statistics. Likewise, they must have at least 3 hours a day to receive virtual classes and carry out autonomous work sessions.

“Our alliance with Samsung Innovation Campus seeks to encourage the country’s young people to expand their knowledge in artificial intelligence and technology in general, a sector that contributed $5.6 billion by the end of the previous year and that will undoubtedly continue to be an industry of constant growth,” said Sandra Milena Chacón, dean of the School of Administration at the Universidad del Rosario.

Registration is open until November 3 and can be done through the official website of the program or the university.

UBITS, the B2B corporate learning hub, confirmed that it will work alongside Harvard Business Publishing to enhance the platform’s training and development programs.

The collaboration will allow 5,000 new contents to be offered in the application, to train professionals and collaborators. Covering topics such as management, leadership, finance and soft skills such as motivation and coaching.

These resources will be available in three languages: English, Spanish and Portuguese, ensuring inclusive access to audiences across the region.

The content will have academic information from Harvard University, which comes from prominent leaders in companies and recognized public figures, such as Bill Gates, Boris Johnson, Jeff Bezos, Chris Anderson, Condoleeza Rice, Indra Nooy and Daniel Goleman.

All this arises in the midst of a process of change in the world of work. According to the World Economic Forum, it is estimated that 40% of basic work skills will change by 2025. This makes continuing education and the acquisition of new resources in companies and employees even more necessary.
