Furthermore, the release states that heavy rainfall is anticipated in Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Pudukottai, Sivagangai, Kallakurichy, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, and Puducherry districts today. The hilly areas of Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Thenkasi, Tuticorin, Virudhunagar, Theni, Madurai, Dindigul, Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, Pudukottai, and Thanjavur districts are also expected to receive significant rainfall and thunderstorms tomorrow.
