*CALL FOR THE PROVINCIAL JOURNALISM CONTEST JANUARY 17*
The Union of Cuban Journalists in Artemisa calls for the Provincial Journalism Contest on January 17, in greeting to the 65th anniversary of Fidel’s triumphal entry into Artemisa, and in the midst of important transformations in the communications field in the country.
All press professionals in the province, members of Upec, with works published between November 1, 2022 and October 31, 2023, may participate.
The jury by category (print journalism, television, radio, hypermedia and graphics) will award prizes to the three best works: 2,500 pesos for first place, 2,000 for second, and 1,000 for third; and an accrediting diploma that everyone will receive. You will also deliver the mentions you deem relevant in each of the categories.
The admission period will be carried out by means, as follows:
Newspaper the artemiseño: November 27, 2023
ArTV Telecentre: November 28, 2023
Radio Artemisa: November 29, 2023
Radio Ariguanabo: November 30,
Radio Mariel: November 30, 2023
It is important to deliver the works on time because the jury will meet outside the province, from December 5 to 20, 2023.
The presidents of delegations and media directors will be responsible for the collection and delivery of the works to the following email

The works will be duly identified, in digital format, and in the case of radio and television they will also deliver the script.
Special Theme: 70th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks. The jury will award a single prize consisting of 2,500 pesos and any mentions they deem relevant.
