Once the Giro and Tour routes are known, the teams can now plan their 2024 season. And something that marked the presentation of the Grande Boucle was the presence of a high mountain stage on day 4, with none other than the legendary Galibier.

At BORA, expectations with Primoz Roglic are very high, as was stated in the statements of one of its sports directors, Rolf Aldag. “The start of the Tour is always nervous,” he said on the team’s website, referring to the complicated first week of the majors.

“To plan more specifically, for example the Italian stages, we will have time. Furthermore, we will be able to work on it during the Tirreno Adriatico,” he continued, later hinting that for the final days of the French round they will also use Paris Nice as training.

“For the leaders of the line, it will not be enough to reach the Tour at 90%,” he analyzed, explaining why you cannot bet on growing during the race. “It’s an old but true saying: you won’t win the test there, but you can lose it,” he said.

In this way, at least for Roglic, it will not be a strategy to arrive with room for progression to hit his ceiling in the third week. The Slovenian will be at his best from the start.

Additionally, we want to denounce that the Latin American multimedia that steals the material is also evident when it publishes on the same day as us news that was actually from previous days and we decided to delay. If the incident is repeated, we will hold a public protest.
