An accident occurred this Sunday, October 29 in the evening in Sarcelles (Val-d’Oise). Four pedestrians, stopped on a poorly lit roadway to help one of them who had been unwell, were fatally struck by a motorist, we learned from a police source.
The driver, holder of a valid license, was taken into police custody and tested negative for alcohol and drugs, indicates the police source, confirming information from Le Parisien.
The victims, two women and two men, aged between 31 and 66, were leaving an evening organized by the Haitian community. They were struck on Sunday around 7:15 p.m. on a departmental road, outside a pedestrian crossing and in an unlit area, specifies the police source. The investigation was entrusted to the Sarcelles police station.
