The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas published a video on Monday in which three Israeli women supposedly held captive in the Gaza Strip blame Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the attack by Palestinian Islamists and demand that he negotiate the release of prisoners.
Addressing the head of the Israeli government, one of the women shouts in Hebrew: “Free us now, free the citizens from them, free the prisoners from them, let us return to our families.” In the absence of confirmation by Israel, they would be part of the more than 240 people it has held hostage since the attack on Israeli territory on October 7.
In the propaganda video, one of the women assures: “We are suffering from your political, security and military failure, from the failure that you caused on October 7, because no soldier was there and no one came for us, no one “He defended us here; we are innocent citizens, citizens who pay taxes to a State. Israel, now we are in captivity under unconditional conditions.”
The dissemination of the video occurs on the same day that the death of the young German-Israeli Shani Louk, 22, was announced, after weeks of uncertainty about her condition following the images in which she could be seen being transferred in unconscious in a vehicle after the October 7 attacks.
