This Sunday (28), São Paulo drew 1-1 with Athletico Paranaense, at the Ligga Arena, in Curitiba-PR, in the 30th round of the Brazilian Championship. Pablo Maia was the scorer of the tricolor goal.

The confrontation had a balanced start. Just 6 minutes into the first half, Athletico opened the scoring. Tricolor reacted quickly and, after 9 minutes, Wellington Rato took a corner and Pablo Maia, well positioned, headed strong, leaving everything the same in Curitiba. In a good chance to score, Erison shot with his left, in the 28th minute, but the ball was saved by Bento.
After the break, the match remained closely contested, but the teams did little to finish and did not create much danger for the goalkeepers. With a competitive stance, the São Paulo team had more possession of the ball, but was unable to turn the score around.
The game marked the return of defender Ferraresi, recovered from injury. He has not played for Tricolor since January 2023, when he was injured in training.
