Sensitive souls refrain ! For this eleventh issue of season 18 of “L’Amour est dans le pré”, broadcast this Monday, October 30 on M 6, the most emotional fans had better take out the big pack of tissues. After Justine’s incredible, lightning-fast move to Patrice’s house the previous week, this new burst of adventure was marked by very touching sequences.

Without much surprise, Romeo, the 47-year-old fodder producer, who has always been single, chose the bubbly Sophie, rejecting Clothilde who had difficulty finding her feet. So here is the couple alone for the first time, after a first kiss during a bike ride.

“I’m happy, I need a man like that,” Sophie assures the camera, giving hope for the best for the future of this budding relationship. It’s beautiful because they are two people who just want to be happy.”

“I said to myself: I prefer it to be a little 38 year old who writes to him”

For their inaugural outing, the lovers decide to share a meal alone, after a romantic walk hand in hand. A dinner which turns out to be an opportunity to discuss a delicate subject: a future life together, but without children… Romeo has always dreamed of being a father and brings it to the table.

“If we had had kids, we could have made a second bedroom, that will always be a regret, that’s hard,” he pours out at the table. Sophie, 47, mother of two boys and grandmother several times, tries to cheer him up in this poignant moment. “Given my age, we know very well that… It’s all part of the past. You have to focus on what you want, on the good you can have. If we do something, if it continues, we can do it together. »

He who always dreamed of having descendants, in particular to take over his farm, spoke about it during his portrait. And this desire for fatherhood had even made Sophie think when she was applying to meet him. “I said to myself: I prefer it to be a little 38 year old who writes to him,” she explains. That would have given you a chance to be a dad. » But love decided otherwise, and it is towards a blended family with Sophie’s sons that her companion’s future points.

“Thank you for coming.”

Charles and Véronique, the other emblematic couple of this vintage with Patrice and Justine, find themselves this time near the young woman’s home, in Indre. “I’m very happy to come, we’re already inseparable,” says the farmer, in love like never before. “I found the week very long without him, I have never been so happy and united,” assures Véronique.

But before going back to cuddle under the duvet, it’s time for introductions to Véronique’s family, and especially to her brother. The young couple therefore leaves to visit a couple of friends for a simple barbecue where the two lovebirds are grilled, bombarded with questions about their meeting. “He wasn’t drunk that evening, Cupid,” laughs Véronique between two glasses of pastis.

But throats will quickly tighten when Dominique, Véronique’s brother who can hardly speak anymore due to a stroke, validates his new brother-in-law. His gaze hidden behind his pair of sunglasses, he still manages to show that he is overwhelmed by emotion. “Thank you for coming,” Charles assures him. To which Dominique responds, not without difficulty, with some speech difficulties, “I too, I am very happy”, followed by a poignant hug between the two men, quickly caught up by Véronique. A life-changing moment that adds flavor to the program.
