Police officers arrived at the scene and determined that the family conflict occurred as a result of a verbal quarrel that arose due to the fact that the son came home intoxicated and did not want to officially get a permanent job. During the quarrel, the son began to threaten to kill his mother: he took a pan and struck at least 4 blows to the head. Seeing the blood, the brawler disappeared from the apartment, and the victim called the police.
Police officers detained the suspect. A 40-year-old resident of Pinsk, recently returned from a labor treatment center, where he was undergoing compulsory treatment. Twice during the year the man was brought to administrative responsibility for appearing in a state of intoxication and a family scandal.
The attacker was unable to explain his actions and regrets what he did. Investigators have given a legal assessment to the actions of the person involved, and a criminal case has been opened for threatening to kill.
