The third prize of the ‘Santander X Spain Award Startups 2023’ of Santander Bank has fallen to Therminer, whose executive director is Gonzalo García, and which focuses on the use of heat generated by computer servers for heating and domestic hot water in homes, and for other industrial uses. In this way, 90% of the energy consumed by a computer server is recovered in the form of heat, and its cooling energy needs are reduced by 95%.
The winners of the ‘Santander X Spain Award Startups 2023’ have shared a total of 20,000 euros in prizes. In addition, they will have the opportunity to compete internationally with entrepreneurs from eight other countries, representing Spain in the Santander , the global community of outstanding entrepreneurial projects of Santander Bank.
