Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Roopa emerged the winner of the district level 31st National Children’s Science Congress-2023 held at BBS Conference Hall in West Kameng district on Tuesday.
Addressing students and teachers, Deputy Commissioner Aakriti Sagar said that “scientific temperament should be inculcated in students from a young age, as this will enable them to reason things out scientifically.”
DDSE LD Komu said that “Most of the participants have submitted their sub-themes. “The school should prepare harder to compete at the state level.”
Karma Wangjom Sinchaji and Ashish Kumar Badal of GHSS Rupa, Lhamu Droma and Sonam Pema of St. Lopon English School, Dirang, and Madhura Palsokar and Nishmita Sheel of VKV KM were adjudged first, second and third place winners respectively.
These three schools will represent the district at the state level to be held on November 23.
