In the Brest region, over the past 24 hours, the help of rescuers was required to find five lost people, BELTA reports with reference to the Brest regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
So, on October 31, at approximately 17.45, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information that a man got lost while picking mushrooms in the forest near the village of Podlesye-Kamenetskoye, Brest district. A search was organized, in which rescuers and workers from the Brest forestry enterprise took part. The lost man was found and did not require medical attention.
On the same day, at about 21.20, a message was received that two men and two women were lost while picking berries in a swampy area near the agricultural town of Khotynichi, Gantsevichi district. During search activities, workers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Gantsevichi Forestry Enterprise found the lost people. One of the rescued women was hospitalized with hypothermia.
