Jorge Martín and Pecco Bagnaia are involved in a very intense fight for the MotoGP championship. There are three races left and the difference in favor of the Italian is just thirteen points.
At Pramac, Martín’s team and a Ducati subsidiary, they are convinced of the abilities of the Madrid rider, who in 2023 has achieved four victories (Bagnaia has six).
Gino Borsoi, Pramac’s team manager, says that Martín is the “most prepared” driver. “He is the strongest rider on the MotoGP grid,” he commented in statements to the media ‘Motorsport’.
“When I started in the Pramac project I knew that within the team there were two great drivers and, above all, Jorge, who for whatever reasons had not yet been able to demonstrate his full potential. This year the circumstances were right to do so on a technical level, In that aspect the team is at the highest level…”, he details.
He assures that he is by no means surprised by what Martín is demonstrating: “Personally, I am not surprised by the driving that Martín is developing this year, even though, if I am honest, at the beginning of the season I did not plan to arrive with three races to go. the end playing for the title”.
Martín’s ‘feel’ with this year’s Pramac was total from the beginning: “From the first moment he got on the bike, in the Valencia test, he said that he already liked it much more than the 2022.”
