In the same suburb hundreds of demonstrators gathered yesterday afternoon to participate in an anti-fascist rally. At the end of the event, according to Hellenic police sources cited by Efsyn, some anti-fascist militants gathered in Victoria Square, where clashes occurred with the police, who reacted to the opponents’ stone throwing with the use of smoke bombs. Overall, the police stopped 39 people following the clashes that occurred yesterday, Efsyn reports.
