The 28-year-old young woman, who until then lived with her sister, decided this year to strike out on her own and buy a studio. She knows that the path will be strewn with pitfalls. And yet, her situation is solid, since she is on a permanent contract. But even this stable contract no longer guarantees obtaining a loan. In one year, the average personal contribution required by banks to acquire housing has soared by 61%, according to the Century 21 real estate network. In addition, Laura has rather low income, around 1,450 euros net per month. After the refusal of her bank, Crédit Agricole, which she chose 11 years ago, the young woman decided to use the services of a broker to try to find a bank that would agree to lend her money.
