Watan Al-Youm: The International Union of Muslim Scholars urged Islamic governments and official armies to move quickly and effectively to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, after issuing a fatwa stressing the duty of supporting Palestine religiously, politically, legally and morally.
This came against the backdrop of holding a press conference at the headquarters of the International Union of Muslim Scholars in Doha, in the presence of a number of scholars of the Union, headed by the Secretary-General of the Union, Ali Al-Qaradaghi.
The International Federation of Muslim Blinds stressed the importance of cooperation and coordination between the Arab and Islamic countries and the four ring countries (Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon), to achieve international balance and prevent tyranny.
The Union renewed the call for jihad and logistics in Palestine as a legal duty and an Islamic and humanitarian responsibility, while prohibiting remaining silent about aggression and not repelling or responding to it.
