Constitutionally, voting is mandatory to elect one of the two candidates to exercise the Presidency of the Argentine Republic in this new four-year period. The blank vote deprives us of the right to claim non-compliance with laws, violated constitutional rights, non-compliance with promises in their campaigns pursuing our vote and/or any right that we consider belongs to us. We have seen on television well-known politicians, angry because they have not been elected, announce that they will vote blank. What a disappointment, all the time during the campaign they tried to win our vote and now, angry, they “wash their hands” and leave behind those who trusted and voted for them! I mean: no one has to vote blank, we have to trust and play for either of the two candidates because not doing so, not playing, takes away our right to claim or complain. If you vote blank, don’t get angry when they hurt you.
