Coach Doriva Júnior held a press conference this Thursday (2), in Morumbi, and assessed Tricolor’s 1-0 victory over Cruzeiro in a duel valid for the 31st round of the Brazilian Championship.
“It was a well-balanced, difficult game against a team that values possession well. Both teams looked for the goal. We found the goal and had other opportunities, but it was a very even game”, said the coach, who commented.

“We achieved a very important result at this point in the competition. There is no lack of fight, dedication and commitment to the team”, added the São Paulo commander.
With the important victory, São Paulo reached 42 points in the Brasileirão and occupies tenth place. Dorival Júnior’s team’s next match will be against Red Bull Bragantino, on Wednesday (08/11), at 8pm, in Vila Belmiro.
