The weather will worsen in most areas of the country from late afternoon on Friday until midday on Sunday, with heavy rains and storms, accompanied by hail and a high frequency of lightning, initially in the northwest, gradually in the rest of the west, the north with an extension of the phenomena towards the north-eastern continents, the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese.
As far as the region of Epirus is concerned, heavy rains and storms are predicted from the evening hours of Friday and will continue into the morning hours of Saturday.
Taking into account the forecast of the National Meteorological Service, the Department of Civil Protection of the Region of Epirus has informed the municipalities and other competent authorities and services to be fully prepared to deal with any problems that may arise, and recommends that those who are going to move be particular careful.
