On All Souls’ Day, the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires (Argentina) organizes the day “Console my people”, which consists of celebrations of the Eucharist, responses and missionary gestures in the three public cemeteries of the city.
In the invitationthe Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Mons. Jorge García Cuerva, highlighted that every November 2 “we celebrate the day of the faithful departed, our loved ones who are still present in our hearts because we love them very much, beyond their physical absence.”
“We also remember them with the hope of reunion, with the hope that, once we too depart from this life, we will give each other an eternal hug in Heaven,” he said.
