The Fifth National Criminal Court of Appeals revoked the resolution of the Sixth Preparatory Investigation Court, and issued 36 months of preventive detention against the lawyer José Luis Castillo Alva, linked to the criminal organization “Los Cuellos Blancos del Puerto.”
As is remembered, The aforementioned lawyer is investigated for the alleged crime of criminal organization to the detriment of the State.
In this sense, it was decided that the corresponding letters be sent to the police entity for its immediate location and captureit should be placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority for internment in the respective penitentiary establishment.
This way, The court declared the Public Ministry’s appeal well founded against the first instance resolution that had imposed an appearance on Castillo Alva with restrictions, subject to compliance with rules of conduct. The aforementioned lawyer, also known as “Pepe Lucho“is accused of having maintained links and actions with the organization called”The White Necks of the Port“.
Said criminal group, as recalled, It was made up of officials from the Judicial Branchas well as former members of the deactivated National Council of the Judiciary (CNM)who performed judicial favors and reduced sentences, thus benefiting dozens of businessmen.
