They denounce relentlessness. Two female family members of a 93-year-old resident accuse a night watchman at an Alpes-Maritimes nursing home of having raped the nonagenarian, reports BFMTV Côte d’Azur. Despite a complaint filed in 2022, the man is still employed by the establishment. And the family claims to have since suffered pressure from the latter. “It’s a steamroller,” says one of the women.

The nursing home threatens in particular to change the nonagenarian establishment. A transfer that could harm his health, according to a psychologist.

Only one visit per week

A single one-hour visit per week was also granted to family members, on Thursday afternoon. A niche that prevents those who work from going there. “We didn’t get to wish Mother’s Day. No more than her birthday since it doesn’t fall on a Thursday,” regrets the daughter of this resident to the channel.

The family also regrets not receiving news from the establishment, while their loved one’s health has been deteriorating since the start of the school year. “At 93 years old, we know very well that things are getting worse day by day. That means that at one point or another, she will leave on her own,” fears her niece. The family contacted the rights defender.
