This Saturday night was Grêmio on the field at the Arena, in a game valid for the 32nd round of the Brazilian Championship. Tricolor faced Bahia, in front of more than 40 thousand Grêmio fans present at the stadium, and won by a score of 1-0, with a goal scored by Suárez in the second half.
The victory of coach Renato Portaluppi’s team placed the Club in second place on the competition’s leaderboard, with 56 points achieved in 32 matches.
The opening 45 minutes were busy, with the teams competing a lot for the ball in midfield. Bahia started the match by scoring strongly and Tricolor tried to infiltrate the attack.
